Midnight...
Fresh air filled with yesterday’s rainy kisses
The balcony swing is putting me to sleep
I resist.
Too many stars too bright
Feels wrong to shut my eyes
…
sweet drowsiness and swinging stars
the touch of night air over my heated skin
the sweet scents of home cooking
still linger under my nose,
watering my mouth.
On nights like this
Faith blossoms… in man and his creator
one can’t help but think of tomorrow
and I feel like a child again.
Death will come to us,
No, we shall go to It…
but, first let us taste all the spices of the earth
Let us try coconut ice cream, walk barefoot on wet roads
 and even kiss all frogs
catch a glimpse of our fairy prince… princess
catch a glimpse of our fairy prince… princess
You have consumed and think you live
Let yourself Be consumed, learn how to die …breathing
