Fair Trade
give me a country
where  a woman can be heard without
having to raise her voice,
where I am loved for
what I am  not what I could be,
where beauty is what
an artist decides not what a salesman engineers,
where I am  free to make mistakes and learn,
where my sacrifices are not seen as
weaknesses, and my engagements as submissions,
where I am  not the mirror image of my Mother,
where I have the right to live hidden under veils
or free even from my own shadow.
where I can preach in  mosques and on the streets,
where I can dress
like a  woman and be respected like
a  man,
where I rejoice in
my wildness not run scared from wannabe tamers
give me a country
where I can Be…
...And let me give you a Free Nation
...And let me give you a Free Nation
