Chasing shadows

I keep on chasing the light that fades in my eyes...

too afraid that one day it would all disappear

What then would keep me alive?

Except sadness and fear …

 

Noise drowns our very breaths

Teeth and tongues and eyes that eat… meat

How can souls hope to grow and meet

When music is slaughtered and Gods shower in blood

 

O verse! Black hole of the universe

Spit of the Nothing that defies Everything

Have you come to save or indict me ?

Tired of the cage afraid my wings have lost their strength
